It's not a silly idea because I would like to set up my print bed to rest on 3 points like the delta's do to create a print plane since 3 points define a plane. Rectangular print beds are over constrained when clamped at the four corners requiring precise height adjustments at the corners to try to fit four points into a plane.
I'm trying to find out if I can get better no fuss first layer precision using 3 points to hold my glass print bed utilizing fsr's with auto bed leveling. To do this I'd like to tap out a circular grid pattern like the delta's do.
In my configuration.h all the auto bed leveling grid patterns are rectangular.
Anyone please let me know if you know how to set up Marlin to tap out a circular grid pattern for auto bed leveling.
