What board is this???
July 23, 2020 05:26AM
Hello I am trying to upload Marlin and was able to get V2 onto this Kreatit Kr-10s (CR-10s copy). The heated bed wont heat. Everything including the temp sensor is okay. I am thinking I have the wrong board? Can anyone help or tell me what board this would be in Marlin V2xx? Thank you!!

Photos too large to upload here find them on my G drive

Images work now.

lcd is a standard 20x4 char display REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER

Main board looks like its a mks clone (ramps + 1 mosfet)

googles says it might be a #define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_MKS_BASE_14 here [www.3dprintingforum.us]

Hello Dust,

Thank you so much! But I just changed the board name and still nothing to the bed, the mosfet doesn't light up like the extruder nozzle does when heating. Maybe a board/electrical issue? Going to put a multimeter to it.

Update:

The bed heating problem was a hardware issue. Software worked great, thanks again!!

This controller is one that came with my HIctop 3DP11/12 3D Printers,

As they got a little hot so I added a strap of aluminum with transistor mounting hardware as a make shift heat sink.

My controller is yours controllers predecessor.

After the upgrade they have operated cooler and not given me any problem, have flashed them with most versions of marlin firmware.
Now using Marlin 2.0.3 versions with out any problems.

Don't forget, for the longer life of the integrated stepper drivers, add small heatsinks to the stepper driver IC's smiling smiley

Thank you: forgot about that I added them as the photo was taken before they were added.
They were small integrated stepper drivers adhesive backed heat-sinks.
