Hi,

How should I compile Marlin with an Ender 3 v2 board with 4.2.7 and TMC2225? I noticed that TMC2225 are not officially supported by Marlin.

Shall I use TMC2208_STANDALONE? What issues can that cause?

* Use TMC2208/TMC2208_STANDALONE for TMC2225 drivers and TMC2209/TMC2209_STANDALONE for TMC2226 drivers.

they are identical, just different names as the chips are in different chip packages
