Y-Axis homing in the wrong direction
May 11, 2021 10:19PM
Hello Everyone,

Hardware:

BigTreeTech GTR V1.0
TMC2209: Z1, Z2 and E0
BTT S42B: X & Y

I'm having an issue where homing the Y-axis is moving in the wrong direction (Towards Y-Max). Y-Axis moves correctly when I tell it to move either towards Y-Min or Y-Max. Nothing wrong with X or Z.
I have tried, swapping the end stop and cable, the stepper motor and cable and driver. I have even tried the endstop_noise_treshold and detect_broken_endstop but those did not help.

Any help is appreciated.

Most get Y wrong in their heads... on printer where the bed moves in Y.

Since the hot end can not move in Y the bed moves in Y, but this inverts things.

The Y min endstop is at the back of the machine. Ie When the hot end is at the front of the bed. Y- should move bed back.
The Y max endstop is at the front of the machine. Ie when the hot end is at the back of the bed. Y+ should move the bed forward.

So where is your Y endstop?
