I have just fitted an MKS Gen L V2.1 board to my Anet A6 and installed Marlin 2 firmware. When I Auto Home X, Y and Z all go to their endstop switches but then the X moves to 77 and the Y to 111.
I can't see why this is happening, can someone shed some light on this?
Edit 1
I think I've just found it. When I compiled Marlin I got an error saying that I should enable Z_SAFE_HOMING which I did before looking further. Now I see that enables Z_SAFE_HOMING_X_POINT X_CENTER. However, the notes in configuration.h say to use Z_SAFE HOMING when using a probe but I am not using a probe so why do I get this compile error?
Edit 2
I found it, PROBE_MANUALLY was defined for some reason. Commented out Z_SAFE_HOMING and PROBE_MANUALLY and now it compiles without error.
I will now upload it and see how it goes.
Edit 3
All working now. Hope this post helps someone else.
