ender 5 plus

Im trying to get any of the marlin firmware to work after using Arduino ide and changing the hotend temp to 300c. Ive used 2.0 and 2.1 and my screen is all wack. Half chinese and half english. Nothing works at all . Its a touch screen and im not willing to keep putting more money into this anymore. Im eventually getting a qidi xcf pro . But in the meantime id like to figure out why nothing is working correctly ? Has anyone else had any experience doing this ? Im using the ender 5 plus example files and then using that confog and pasting is over the config in the x zip file . Ove tried both 2.0 bugfix and 2.1 bugfix as well as running the current unstable state . Thanks for any help

Stock Marlin does not support the original firmware on that touch display

The Ender-5 stock LCD can optionally use a customized Marlin DGUS interface. With the stock LCD firmware Marlin can only be controlled from a host over USB.
