No Display Output

I’ve been trying to install Marlin 2.x for the past few days on a Tronxy X1. Everything seems to be working on the printer correctly whenever it is plugged in and controlled by pronterface. However the display only ever turns on but never displays anything. I’ve tried using every lcd driver I thought would be appropriate on configuration.h. Have any of y’all had this same experience or possibly now a solution?

The printer has the Melzi board: CXY-V.2-0508 and a Reprap Discount Smart Controller.

That does not look like a Reprap Discount Smart Controller.


It seems to be a 128x64 mono graphics display from the shape and the outline of the pixels

Even though they also say is a 2004 when it clearly says on the back of the pcb LCD-12864

Use REPRAP_DISCOUNT_FULL_GRAPHIC_SMART_CONTROLLER

I also tried that driver with and without the delays. For the delays I used [150,150,150] and [0,0,0] and nothing changed.

First issue
Its a Tronxy X1 Mini this comes with a 128x64 lcd with encoder
Not a Tronxy X1, which comes with a 20x4 lcd with 5 buttons

I’m still a beginner at installing a custom compiled version of Marlin on a printer, what issue does the encoder wheel create and how can I go about figuring out how to fix it?

The rest of the Marlin software works, it’s just the display and encoder that isn’t working.
