M404 - Changing Filament Diameter

Hi!

I have a very simple question, about filament diameter.

It´s strange why is needed two places, in configuration.h and in Slicer, but ok! I think!

Now I want change the filament diameter, I need to upload the firmware each time?
When I try use the command M404 the answer is: Unknown command!!?? How to enable it?

Any question or any sugestion are welcome!

M404 is only enabled when FILAMENT_WIDTH_SENSOR is enabled.

Yes, changing DEFAULT_NOMINAL_FILAMENT_DIA will require compiling and re-flashing your controller.

Thank you Bob for your help.

I want to use the same printer for 2 types of filament, 3 and 1.75mm

In the last version of Marlin (2.1.2) I can´t find FILAMENT_WIDTH_SENSOR to enable it !?
I thought that it could be possible use a diameter as default with DEFAULT_NOMINAL_FILAMENT_DIA, and change the default with M404.

FILAMENT_WIDTH_SENSOR can be found in configuration_adv.h
