Safety addon

Guys is it possible to add a temp limit for the hotend to the config file and when the hotend get this hot ( as the temp that you have already write ) to shutdown ?

Today i notice a problem with the fun of the hotend and luckily it wasn't printing at that time, otherwise a disaster could come

When you search a G-code for RepRap Firmware, always have a look at the Wiki page RepRap Firmware G-codes [reprap.org].
The M143 is tagged 'new' as it is a recent implementation.

The safety is existing from some time, but was not adjustable (was locked at 300°C).
Note that I already had triggers (at 300°C) on former version of RRF-DC42 and it does stop the hotend heating, but not the printing, which drive the extruder to click-click at it cannot extrude at low temp.
It is noted in the wiki page that it may start an emergency stop, but if it does not have been modified since 3 month ago, this is not the case.
And an emergency stop may lose the cause of triggering.
