Guys i was looking at the board's shematic with the duex also and it come a question to me . Is it possible to make one complete driver instead of 4 ( i cant rememeber how many the duex has) and plug it at the expansion board.

The only reason is the cost. So is it possible ? The duet will work or not ?

Yes you could make an expansion board with just one driver, hot end heater mosfet and thermistor circuit. It shouldn't be too hard to make one up on strip board. The Duet Shield that RepRapPro used to sell has two of each. There may still be a few available.
