Can any of the available pins on the expansion header be configured to allow the M106 command to control it? I don't need PWM, but would like to control the fan on the hotend with thermostatic mode. The two PWM outputs are already being used by the part cooling fan and another fan on the case with the Duet. I am using the PWM on the case fan to run it at a lower speed to cut down on the noise. Since the thermostatic mode is either on or off, if I can control another pin that would be connected to a mosfet, to control the fan, that would be ideal.

Yes is could be done bit it would need a firmware change. I'll try to identify a suitable expansion pin that is unlikely to be in use for anything else.

That would be great. Thanks for all the hard work you have put into this.
