Web interface Drive 1

Under 'Machine Status' the web interface indicates a value for 'Drive 1'.

In my case (T3P3 Mini Kossel) it always shows 0.0. I can't imagine this is correct.
What is it supposed to indicate? Does it have something to do with the 'Tool Number' under 'Settings => Tools'?

This is the total of extruded filament if the filament coordinates are defined as absolute (vs relative).
However, RepRapFirmware may face troubles if the extruder coordinates are set in absolute and so, the recommendation to set it to relative was made a few times (by David). This is the default in all examples.

This means that these fields are (yet) unused for most people.

Having the total of used filament may be useful and some people asked for it, but that need firmware modification to build the total. (this info is returned to DWC by the status command M408). This is in the firmware wish list, but with low priority.

Actually I intended it to display the total amount of extruded filament (which is the case if my firmware fork is used), but dc42 has never merged in this feature into his fork.
