How do I adjust height of nozzle from bed for first layer to stick?

Hi all, after upgrading my Fisher-Delta with Duet 0.6 pcb to firmware version 15c and DWC 12 with the help of dc42 and DADIY I know hit upon another issue of the first layer not sticking to the bed.
The nozzle temp is 200c and the bed 60c it starts to print and initially is sticks to the bed then becomes unstuck and moves with the nozzle.
I have cleaned the bed and put pva glue on to enhance sticking but no luck. Also the part that has been printed is not fully cohesive with itself.
My thought based on my limited knowledge is that the nozzle is to far aware from the bed when printing the initial layer therefore not providing a good base. If this is the case then I need to lower the nozzle height on the first print layer however, i have no idea how to do this?
Can someone assist me in finding a solution's to the above.

Many thanks Gary J

There is a command in config.g that sets the offset for the nozzle after probing, you may need to change this value -

G31 X0 Y0 Z-0.3 P200 ; Set the zprobe height and threshold (put your own values here)

Z-0.3 sets how low the nozzle is when the probe triggers 200. I think the default is Z-0.1, I tweaked my to Z-0.3 when I added a glass bed that has less deflection.

For extra stick I found the green 3m painters tape worked well with no coating, or the Insette hairspray (although it can be hard to find in the UK - I got mine on ebay)-

Hi DADIY, adjusted the nozzle height and it has made all the difference. Still need to sort out some settings in Simply3d as it sends instructions to the printer and adjusts temp settings which causes problems during the print. I have found that the printer I have likes 200c for PLA and nothing less otherwise the output starts falling apart.
Thanks again for all your help its invaluable to beginners like myself. Many thanks.

I found that most of the PLA's in my printer need to be above 200, some as high as 220. I never got Simplify3d working properly with my Fisher - I need to revisit that.
