After watching Thomas Sanladerer video on bed leveling sensors it seems induction sensors have some real advantages. The only disadvantage of the induction sensor seems to be its its variation under temperature changes.

The induction of materials is somewhat temperature dependent after googling around I found this Texas Instruments Application Report.

Can something like this be implemented in software on the duet? Possibly using data from the bed thermistor and a thermistor attached to the probe.
