Panel Due brightness control

Panel Due brightness control

I have a 4.3" and 7" LCD and panel due running latest version of firmware.
Pressing the brightness +/- buttons on the display doesn't seem to do anything.

I notice that on the back of the LCD PCB there are links for backlight control:
1963_PWM, LED_A, Always on.
No effect with any setting.

Any ideas ?

The brightness control only works on PanelDue version 2.0 boards. I guess you have an earlier version.

Is it as simple as a wire mod ?
Are the schematics for v1 and v2 open source and available ?

Yes, see [github.com]. In version 1.1, R1 is 0R and connected between LED_A and +5V. In version 2.0 it is 470R and connected between LED_A and pin 4 of the microcontroller.

The schematics will enable m to mod my v1.1 PCB.
