Marlin 2.0 on a Duet 2 Board?
August 14, 2018 10:42AM
Hi All,

I'm looking to use a new Duet 2 board on my 3D printer build, but I'm really wanting to use Marlin as I've managed to configure this perfectly for my application.

I've seen some other 32 bit boards which do work, but the add-ons which the Duet 2 offer have caught my eye!

Some people say that Marlin 2.0 works with the Duet 2, while others say it doesn't so I'm hoping if someone can give me the definitive answer in regards to this?

Regards,

Alex

I am not aware of anyone having a Marlin port for the Duet 2, but I suggest you ask in the Firmware->Marlin section of this forum in case anyone has done one.

Bear in mind that Marlin doesn't support a web interface, so you would be throwing away one of the major advantages of the Duet. You would also lose the ability to reconfigure the firmware without recompiling it, along with some other features that Marlin doesn't support.

I'm sure you confused Marlin4Due with Duet?
