Getting offsets when printing the outer walls
December 31, 2019 03:42PM
I'm having this issue forever and have tried most almost everything i've found on the internet.
In the picture you can see what i'm talking about. It happens more toward the front of the bed and also on the outer parts of the bed.
This issue is also leading to an uneven surface in Z.
Anyone know whats causing this? I feel it may be a mechanical issue.
I made sure to tighten the belt using a freq tuner app. so should be good on that end

Looks to me as if something has gone somewhere and the print head wobbles.

Either there are screws somewhere loose on the printhead or you have a Core XY where something is wrong with the belt guide.

I have checked all screw and print head is secure. I'll have the check the belt guides. Would that be the gear and post coming from the stepper motor? The one that moves the belts?

Oh also I forgot to add Im using a Wasp 2040 Delta. that may help to know.

Thanks for the help,
Gabe

Well I'm out, deltas are absolutely not my specialty.
And unfortunately I'm not the best in English.
I think you have too high tolerances on the poles.
The angular ball joints must not have any play when wobbling.
If you wobble at the printhead do you notice a game or hear something click?
The bar lengths must not be of different lengths, a few 1/10 mm are clearly noticeable.
However, the printed image would not be so fatal.

have you ever tried it in the english-speaking part of this forum, there is even an extra area for deltas.
