I managed to let the magic smoke out of my MKS Gen L board - reverse polarity on the 24Vdc connection - rookie mistake. I'm trying to find the value of the component marked "D17" which I believe to be a diode since the silk screen shows a "polarity stripe". It is shown on the drawings for the board located behind the 12v/24vdc header. I would like to replace this surface mount component and see if the board will still come up. The 5v side of the board works. Still initializes the LCD,displays text, etc. Thanks in advance.
