VDE Extruder from off the shelf components

I am looking at making VDE from of the shelf components one can easily buy. Without need for grinding (although, I can grind, I don't want to and this is not really reproducible way)
Plan is to combine one of those bearings:


with one of those blades:


This will also, I think, require DIN980V nuts like this:


And require some different style part in this style (it is supposed to be cut in 2 half, which will be screwed together,
Also, to fix it to the stepper shaft reliable I am planning to use 20T pulley, similar to what Voron used to do (this is why large hole on back side, it is unfinished yet).

Of course, nothing wrong also in taking some normal ball bearings and use bolts and nuts to attach blade to bearing, but this approach would save couple of grams and looks a bit cleaner, isn't it?

Current roller is designed with 20 degree rotation of bearing axes. With 0.1 cut into filament. Rotation was done around axis which is orthogonal to the filament path at the point of contact of filament and blade,

Even if it look more bulky than "usual" VDE, printed part is about 6g now. With all expansion for bolting parts together it will be 8g or so. Additionally, I am thinking about making it fully enclosed, so blades will be completely inside, this will add, maybe, something like extra 3g (and then wit will be needed to print as 3 parts (think about cover from the side where blades are now). But this also will allow to add large diameter bearing on the side where filament goes to hotend. so then rotor will have zero chance to move along axis of the rotor (from one side it pressed into fixed pulley, from other side into bearing).

That plan looks sensible — use matched Single row deep groove ball bearing (pick the 8mm, 11mm or 15mm bore bearings that match the blade hub hole and M4/M6 fasteners) to support the blade hub, secure the hub halves with multiple screws and thread-locker so the split clamp grips the bearing OD and the pulley boss reliably, use DIN980V all-metal locknuts on the shaft where needed, fit a 20T timing pulley with a clamping hub (or grub-screw + clamp style) to the stepper shaft through the large back hole in your HollowExtruderv2.stl so you don’t need grinding, add short spacers/shoulders between precision bearings and blades to control axial position, use light grease and ensure the assembly is dynamically balanced and preloaded properly (or use a flanged bearing/adapter if you need a precise register), and double-check that all M4/M6 clearances and stack heights line up before final assembly.
