Make Club 1.
Over the past two years we’ve seen some pretty exciting (& affordable) technology from MakerBot’s to Blender from DIY OpenMaterial to Shapeways & Ponoko. So where is this all going? We’re going to try and answer that.
Make Club is a come as you are group dedicated to the exploration of these new ‘open’ materials, design, manufacturing technologies & theory.
Our first event is scheduled for March 18th 6:30pm EST. We’re going to open up 15 spaces with no material/fee’s.

6:30 - 7:00pm Meet & greet
7:10 - 7:30pm Live Stream Presentation & Q&A with Josh Mings @solidsmack CAD Blogger [solidsmack.com] *OpenCAD vs. established suites
7:40 - 8:00pm Live Stream Presentation & Q&A with TBD
8:10 - 8:30pm Create a mystery OpenMaterial & discuss
8:45 - 9:05pm 20min Product design challenge with your OpenMaterial , theme TBD.
9:15 - Present designs and pull a few (more) caps off bottles.
Location: 523 Parliament St.
Green P Parking is behind the Starbucks or feel free to park on either side of the street.
