I was very foolish apparently and bought a melzi from SainSmart. and well dun dun dun. no bootloader. or isp or ext pins. however the holes are drilled and tinned on the board.

but i do not have an avr programmer. so i cant install the bootloader. so this is where one of you guys may come in! hopefully one of you guys can assist in getting a bootloader on my melzi! first endevor into 3d printing and so far its nto a good one

I HAVE Arduino - 1.6.4 it will help load the cards it supports (open source free soft)
Ummm not femilliar with your product but it's worth a try, I downloaded schematics and many informative how to's.
Even a bread board setup...

Also chech sparkfun electronics they have all the board accessories hardware and courses, ect
