Yes I went with my daughter. The main objective was to see a RepRap working, which we did. 
The talk was interesting, although it was more philosophical than practical. Adrian is a good and entertaining speaker and there was a large and interested audience with a very useful and interactive Q&A. We travelled from the Thames Valley specially, and it was worth the journey. Hopefully it will be repeated elsewhere.
