Reprap Uk parts?
November 20, 2007 06:02AM
I'm from Bristol and been following RepRap for a while. However I'm holding of a build, until I can get my hands on the RP parts. As I don't have the space or tools needed to make them. I now Ian Adkins is hoping to have a fully assembled and working machine soon.

Eventually I want to build RC boat hulls with it and carbonfiber moulds. Although I would need a larger printing area which looks like it would be simple enough to achieve, also a two head machine would be grate. If I could get some sort of conductive plastic then you could integrate circuits within a print.

Hi AcidHell2

Which part of Bristol I'm from Clevedon so very close by I'm sure. I'm hoping to post pictures this weekend, I have a few items to machine and to splice the Z belt together (no electronics yet!) but will test with some other drivers i have.

Yup, I missed a set and had to log in in a hotel in France to get them! Hope this is a surge in popularity it needs and probably helped by the recent BBC 'click' program.

Still I'm looking forward to getting back off holiday and building cool smiley
