Hi, Thought id introduce my self

Im Rob, im 21 and just beginning my build.

So far i think i have about 85% of the hardware required to build a Mendel Prusa.

Im a way of finishing that but i thought i would begin sourcing the other major components.

I work as a Engineer so the mechanical build and any machining required i can do easily.

What im less sure of is the electronics.

I think im set on buying a pre -assembled Gen 3 or 6 board, (suggestions please!)

Ramps appears less obvious to me.

So the question is which one, and where from.

Welcome

I have G3 running, but that is old stuff. If I was to do this again I would build the pololu solution designed by Adrian. Simply because it seems relatively diy.

For the rest I cannot help you. Perhaps you should ask on the main boards as this is a problem not specific to the UK but to all.
