I think i'm going to push ahead with this project at the school I teach at!
The kids I teach on the robotics team would get a real kick out of this....

Nur, what is your RepRap's status? do you have something I can have a peek at?

90% done at the technion (haifa).

hi, i started build my mendel 2 weeks ago, i currntly have all the hardware, and all the plastic parts (printed on a pro 3d printer in an israeli startup comany), the elctronics are on the way.. it look like in a month or so il have the mendel ready and printing.
i havent look for an abs supplier here in israel but perhaps if we all call the company above thel realzie they shuld start making abs fialment or even better pla..
when the mendel start taking shape il start documenting the project and upload it to my site..

Got a Makerbot up and running here !
A little calibration and its all done.
Documentation will come up next week hopefully.

Hi,
I would like to build a printer for myself and wanted to know if there is a knowledge base regarding suppliers and materials in Israel.
It's for both plastic parts and "vitamins".
Can any of you print and sell the plastic parts for me locally?
I am sure all the rest is obtainable here and will be happy to start a "shopping list" with addresses and prices.
