Mini Hyenas

I have not heard anyone mention these mini hyena filament drives on the RepRap forums yet. They look like the next evolution to the hobbed bolt but much more professional.

They are on Indiegogo and only have 1 and a half days left, I would really like to see them succeed (so I can get the ones I ordered) and to make sure he will keep producing them to sell on his webstore.

I have no association or affiliation with him I just like the way the product looks.

Have a look [www.indiegogo.com]

Once Arcol's finished shipping the indigogo hyenas, he'll be adding them to his webstore.

They're finally in the webstore.

Essentially just a copy of the MK7 drive out of a different material with a couple more sizing options to fit different applications? Only for direct drive systems, I guess. They look nice on their own, but I want to see one in an extruder! What extruders are they compatible with?

You have a 3d printer so...... any extruder you wish to modify and print to fit it.

There's also a 'bolt' like hypena in his web shop for the typical Greg's derived extruders.

They supposedly grip much stronger than a simple hobbled bolt.
Not sure how they compare to a MK7.
There are claims though that the v2 hyena grips 220% stronger than the v1 (on blog.arcol.hu).

Mine should arrive today winking smiley.
