Interesting,

Have tried with a few glue sticks, some work, some don't! (Directly on glass, thin coat of glue - 60-70C)

Pritt Stick Green extreme - [www.prittworld.co.uk]
didn't work.

A generic school stick did however.

Don't take this as gospel, I haven't tested very thoroughly. But it is very promising.
