i'm new to the Rep Rap scene, just thought I'd put up some ideas that people may or may not have posted before about materials for extrusion.

Seems to me that readily available materials are a key factor in choosing a different type of extrusion material, has anyone ever attempted to use "Hot Glue Sticks" used primarily for a glue gun? Its cheap, and as far as I can tell the melting point is alot lower than ABS or PLA. Just my 2 cents.

A glue stick extruder would be useful for other materials as well. Specifically, i want to try sealing wax (like that used to seal medieval letters). modern sealing wax comes in glue stick form, and in many colors. i would like to experiment with using it as a support material, or possibly for lost wax casting.
