Where can I buy this nozzle in the US?

I am looking for a place in the US to buy this nozzle. I have everything to make this hot end except the nozzle.

I posted the photo. Not sure why it didn't show up.

Here is the link to it. [reprap.org]

Hello,

I have some of the parts, for them, and the raw materials to make what I don't have.

I can make the following kit, for you, for $48.00:

PTFE thermal barrier
brass nozzle
PEEK block
aluminum heater block
5.6 ohm heater resistor
100K ohm resistor

They work, however, the PTFE thermal barriers do tend to break as the wall isn't very thick at the root of the threads.

I have been working on this design: [reprap.org]

I doesn't have the weakness nor complexity of the "Geared Extruder Nozzle". However, while it works, the mean time between failures is unknown. So far, it has successfully printed out a couple of PRUSA kits in ABS. PLA works, but requires some serious tuning. Hopefully, the experimental heat sink will make it easier to print PLA.

The main disadvantage is that the brass nozzle requires considerable machining...and is more expensive as a result.

Regards,

Brian

The nozzle in your picture looks a lot like the one that TechZone sells - theirs is made from 7mm brass rod, and has a standard 7mm thread.

I have the PEEK Sheet, PTFE Rod, Brass bar stock for heater block, Resistor and Thermistor already. I just want a nozzle like this. Can you make just that Brian? Or does someone know where it can be purchased online in the US?

Hello,

I guess I misunderstood. I've got a whole bin full of the brass nozzles and can have one (or more) in the mail tomorrow.

The nozzles that I have, with the exception of the orifice, are finished. They are internally threaded to m7x1 and the first 3 threads (or so) are removed in order to accomodate any incomplete threads in the PTFE. The external threads are m6x1 and there is a shoulder to allow the heater block to seat firmly against the brass. They have a small hole, in the tip, made with a center-drill and are ready to have the orifice drilled. I can drill the orifice out to 0.25, 0.30, 0.35, 0.40, 0.50, 0.60, 0.70, 0.80, 0.90, and 1mm.

In the past, I sold them at $7.50 each.

Regards,

Brian

Hey Brian. If you can do $7.50 each shipped to 29805 I will take 2. I will be able to paypal Thursday. I would love to try out the other hot end design but I have 10lbs of PLA and already purchased all the other hot end parts. Maybe next month I can talk myself into buying one with the heat sink from you to play around with. I guess I will do .25 and .35 for the orifice.

Brian,

I'm interested in the complete hot end kit. How much would the total be to ship to 75069?
