GEAR Building Software

I would like to hear about what software that people are using to create gear models from scratch.

I plan on Printing a 90 degree Hypoid Bevel Gear similar to a Differential gear system that I can connect to another mesh model that I have premade. Because it’s getting printed it’s important to have the gear accurately meshing together.

So far I have tried building the gear in blender with the BMG script. It’s very good at producing very accurate gears.
But it becomes buggy when it comes to producing conical gears and pinions. And I can’t get it to mesh at 90 degrees.
Also it only seems to run on an older version of blender.

Does anyone know of any other gear producing programs or script that I could use?
Else I’ll have to work out the angles and build it from scratch, Vertex by Vertex @.@

What software are people using?

A lot of people are using OpenSCAD to generate gears for example, the Parametric Involute Bevel and Spur Gears on Thingiverse.
