Autodesk Inventor LT

I have Autodesk Inventor LT Technology Preview 2009 and it runs nicely on this HP TC1100, 1GHz Pentium M, 1.24 GB RAM, with 2 GB RAM coming soon. I don't use a virtual disk and that helps.

You get it by following some registration procedures. Having a business name, goal, and plan helps. They don't just give it away but it can be had for free. I even got them to send the CD media so this installation can survive a hard drive crash; it wasn't just downloaded.

If there is interest here, I will retrace my steps and post relevant links.

Hi

I would love to know how you got a free copy of Inventor. Is it just a trial version?

Thanks

Yes, it's limited but in ways I don't even know. It also expires in May 2009. It's a Preview of the 2009 release, and to get one you have to comment and participate in evaluation.

It's been so long since my OP (Original Post) I have forgotten how I got this through Autodesk, I mean exactly how with links and everything.
