I thought I'd post to let people know that as part of the Blender Foundation's upcoming film venture they have made available online a guide to 3d printing.
It is a paid for guide and has been around for a while, but if you join the blender cloud by sponsoring their ProjectGoosebury Film. It is fully available immediately to watch all the parts in full online.
It contains a few basics about Blender, some basic models (downloadable) (you will need to edit them),
Guides to sizing, scales, measurements, wall thicknesness, adding colour, adding letters and a full Sintel model from their first Open Movie Sintel, with a few tips on 3d printing it.
