Could someone help prepare this file to print?
June 26, 2015 07:11PM
Hello guys,

New to the forum, really great info on here but after extensive reading I have still having a hard time with meshes and booleans.

I took a standard S4 Case, and added a front valence to it essentially, so it could be mounted in a box.

When I try to export this file as an STL to be printed on a Dimension 1200 SST, (has a support structure, and model structure)

I only get the valence and not the case behind it, or vice versa.

I am using FreeCad so I could work at home, but we have solidworks as well as autocad on a few workstations.

If someone has a spare moment and could please look at my file, and tell me what I am doing wrong?

Or perhaps someone knows how to export my file correctly so that it will print all as one object.

It would not let me attach the file, so I have uploaded it here:

Thank you in advance for your help, and I apologize for inexperience, trying to impress some people at the moment smiling smiley

Thanks,

aga080
