I have a problem with remembering correct file names, so I wrote me a STL thumbnail handler. It integrates seamlessly with Windows Explorer and displays the content of any STL file right in the icon. No need to search through files for a specific model any more, it’s all directly in the icon

... good job! - works with TotalCommander thumbnail-viewer too

Great job! If only the same existed for OpenSCAD files (.scad). Got hundreds of projects and all with the same yellow icon 
I'm generating thumbnails and html indexes of the folders now but that's way less elegant.

I do have windows 10 version1909 (OS Build 18363.657)
And the Image above shows me that it does work.

IIRC, we met earlier on 3D Printing Forum when I presented my viewer. Very cool seeing you still use my software after “so many” years

You are most welcome, since installing Papas Best STL Thumbnails.msi can not believe how much easier it has been to find models needed for that special project.
Before it took me as long to find that special modified model as it did too print the Model, Ok I Exaggerated the time a little bit.
