Help! A real job for a non-profit! ColaLife....

Hi RepRap People,

We are a new and v high profile non-profit called ColaLife and we need a rapid prototype of our AidPod, in a see-thro plastic. We have it already in card. The AidPod is a package designed to fit in the space between Cola bottles in crates, so that in developing countries, simple medicines can reach remote places where the crates go - which is pretty much everywhere. We are planning an in-country trial next year.

We don't really mind how/where/if the package opens at the moment, but obviously this will be important later. We have loads of international agencies like UNICEF and the people who promote Solar Disinfection of water (SODIS) interested, and a SODIS-enabled AidPod is our longer term objective. For this the artefact would have to be waterproof and resealable once the contents are taken out.

Eventually, in-country, local manufacture is our aspiration.

Right now, we just want a 3D object for people to look at and handle, which looks more like 'the real thing' than our cardboard prototype. Can anyone help? See www.colalife.org and various videos, animations and links for more info. eg colalife.org/aidpod and colalife.org/tag/sodis

A net for the cardboard version is available as a pdf and adobe illustrator file.

Thanks,

Simon

and here:

Here are the kit instructions:

And there's video on how to put the model kit together here:
