Printed Spool holder and need some ideas

I printed [www.thingiverse.com] and used a mounting system that atteches it directly above my prusa with about 5 LBS of filament, a little less at the moment. Well, I went from to much tenstion to not enough becuase it uses 2 608 bearings and I need to keep it from catching and unspooling all over. Anyone have ideas on some sort of tensioning system I can create, use, .whatever... ? Here is a pic of my setup. [www.flickr.com]

Mmmmmm. It is too big. Try smaller diameter, and increase the width. You will have a better center of gravity and balance. The extruder must not do a lot of force to carry the filament. It is preferable less weight. You don´t need 5 lbs of filament to do one print. You need a little brake, if the wheel is too fast, without tension. I hope you can solve the problems. Good luck.

Locate Spool holder and drop 4 M3 bolts in the hole. It will help you in the future.
