smarter quieter steppers and drivers

I love my 3d printer but the one thing I do not love about it is the noise it makes. The printer isn't actually that noisy, per se, but I want to be able to sleep and not hear it printing in the next room. I did some searching and found this blog post on the problem and how to go about solving them.

Has anyone played around with this at all already?

When it is on and it lift it with my hands it lowers the noise level surprisingly much, i think setting it on the right kind of feet can make a rather big difference.

Oh, and these feet can also help yes, but I think this topic is mostly about upgrading electronics:

I have used feet and they work great but they are not the final answer. I think a lot more could be done in terms of noise/vibration

Well, did you check out the G3D driver? I think it's the ultimate solution. Oh and take bushings instead of LM8UU's smiling smiley Works great!!!!
