It means that you design a stick or a roll and your print it with your 3D printer ! and then you use the filament you just printed to print something ! ... such as the filament you just used ! hahahaha POOOOOOOOM

Crazy idea, I just had to share it.
The only use I see is to make filament of another diameter, but of course it's simpler and faster to use an appropriated nozzle for that.

You're not the only one who has thought of this crazy but mostly useless idea. It would be interesting to see how many times you could reprint the filament before it degrades too much.

If you print it on a conveyor belt or any other print auto-removing platform, you could even form a loop with the printed filament feeding back directly into the extruder.
