POROLAY Materials uses and ideas

Hello!

I have received some materials in the POROLAY collection: GEL-LAY, LAY-FELT, LAYFOMM.

Has anyone used them before, and does anyone have ideas regarding the use of such materials (visco-elastic, rubbery, with a nice finish).

I suspect the elasticity could be taken advantage of.

RC car shock absorbers? Soundproofing feet or stepper mounts for a printer? Elastic anti-backlash nut?

Also, quite a few models use live hinges, which might work better with elastic filament. The Delta-Pi's carriages come to mind.
