The Future is 3D is proud to announce the release of our new 3D print head.

The TF3D print head is made from machined aluminum that sits on two bushings that ride on an 8mm track.

The Tip is made from Brass, PEEK and PTFE combination that makes for a very reliable hot tip.

The TF3D head is compatible with any reprap printer, or any other 3D printer that is currently available. It has a very versatile mounting system.

The TF3D hot tip can reach temperatures of 300c in less than 8mins, 3mins for PLA(180c), 5mins for ABS(240).

The hot tip can be changed out in less than a minute with any of the available sizes listed.

Here are the sizes we have: for 3mm or 1.75mm filament
.20mm,.25mm,.30mm,.35mm,.40mm,.45mm,.50mm,.55mm
.60mm,.70mm,.80mm,.90mm,1.00mm

We only provide a .35 tip with our printers due to the time it takes to maintain all our skeinforge profiles. We can help you get on the right track, and there are videos under the help tab to show you how to modify skeinforge for your tip size.

To remove the hot tip you do the following:
1. Disconnect the 9 pin connector that connects your hot end
2. Remove the bottom 3mm bolts.
3. Slide the hot tip out
4. Slide the new tip in
5. Replace the two 3mm bolts
6. Reconnect the 9 pin connector
7. Print

As you can see it is a very easy process.

Our print head can do 1.75 or 3mm filament.

All our printers come with a 3mm shaft and a .35mm tip. This is what we support at this time. If you want 1.75mm or a different size tip you will need to purchase them separately. We cannot spend the time to modify hundreds of profiles for all the different ranges. It is easy to do and there are help videos for it under the help tab.
