Sent you an email but forgot to ask:

What temp is the polyurethane resin rated to (as there are different types that are rated to different temperatures)?

Also: Do you intend to make other parts?

ahhm excellent question! The resin pictured's 'head deflection tem' is 75 C, but i can go pick up some more resin tomorrow which is 104 C. It will be slightly more expensive or do you think 75C is enough?

or another company sells 'fire retardant resin' which i can't find any more info about. i might call them tom.

I finally have all the parts so i'll get it going tonight and see how hot the resin gets.

i do plan to sell more parts if i can eventually get printing and print them... i might try to mould all the mendel mini parts

i will test it but i guess if you rep rapped this part, can use it and it doesn't melt, the thermal barrier must do a pretty good job

FWIW: PLA's glass transition temp is between 50-80 Deg C, so I'd guess it would be fine. I don't have a reprap yet however, so I'm basing all my judgement on figures.

it's fine! I got the extruder head to 220 C, the resin only got to about 27!

i can also include the 624 Bearing you will need for an extra $5

I will do the 'placematting' photo thing soon after i have a nap.
