Hmm - I see the Prusa is significantly cheaper than the Ormerod on that site. Apart from the electronics, it seems to be a better printer as far as I can tell. X-axis is supported at both ends, J-head extruder (no Bowden lag), and all-metal frame versions in either steel or aluminium. The plastic parts are moulded rather than printed. You could fit a Duet controller and still end up with a cost saving. Can anyone see what advantage the Ormerod would provide?

I also see that they sell Duet boards on their site for $79.99 + shipping from Hong Kong. The price includes the external 5V linear regulator board used on the Ormerod 2.

Large delta printer [miscsolutions.wordpress.com], E3D tool changer, Robotdigg SCARA printer, Crane Quad and Ormerod

Disclosure: I design Duet electronics and work on RepRapFirmware, [duet3d.com].

Only thing I can think of is the Ormerod 2 is easier to make taller..... and by default it's 200mm Z instead of 180mm
