Hello Everyone,

I try to buy some electronics for the Mendel Machine, but it's not easy to get them. In every shop the items are sold out or very expensive... So I came on the idea to make the bare PCB's by a company but thats very expensive if I do it for myself. So if i've enough people that search bare PCB's of the type Opto Endstop v1.2. I can make them for a good price, around €2,- each (excluding shipping costs: europe: €3,- rest of the world: €5,- or maybe cheaper, I dont know the exact weight)

And If there is a lot of interest in the other types of bare PCB's (motherboard, stepper motor driver, enz.) you can say it here, maybe we can make them in one batch...

So, let me know if there is any interest and how many you want!

Thanks!

Hey, if it's only the opto's you need, you could just use microswitches instead; they work better in some situations, and can be wired up with a resistor or two, no pcb required.

Tijnekind: There will soon be a new electronic set/board available from [mendel-parts.com] But you can also get the tech zone remix set from [botmill.com] or a Arduino + Pololu version from [ultimachine.com]

And the endstop board should be easy to make on protoboard or stripboard. I haven't tried though.

Wade: I'd like to exchange my endstops to switches, and I recall reading about it somewhere, but I can't find it. Is there by any chance a wiki article about it?
