I'm interested, but I have a few questions -

First off, are these open source? I was looking for schematics, couldn't find anything on the webpage. They look pretty similar to the standard reprap electronics.

Also, is the mosfet one of the protected ones? Doesn't matter, as I have protected ones I can replace it with, but it would be nice to know.

Right now they are working hard in the Netherlands to get the orders shipped. I understand that the material will be released.

I'm currently fielding an email from Camiel in my email client wherein he is asking "what files should I put up?"

(Answer: just zip the directory and stick it up there.)

In general, vis-a-vis RepRap's documentation, it is good form to put up the files when you start shipping stuff, if not before. Otherwise you get people who assume that you're not going to put up files, and they get very angry while you're explaining: "I'm putting the files up, I'm putting the files up. (Sebastien, how do I do that again?)"

Would like to buy a set, will be building a set this month; looking at using one of my school's 3d printer/buying a reprap set on ebay vs lasercutting an acrylic repstrap, but regardless I will need the electronics and would prefer to have the latest and greatest.

That's really not a bad deal at all. If you had this shipped directly from mendel-parts.com instead of you it would be $16 dollars more.
