I read an old posting from 2010 about PTFE tubing and where to get it, those suppliers seem to have disappeared now so can anyone help me with current suppliers. I don't want to buy off eBay unless they are selling larger quantities, I'd rather find a company in the UK that can sell in decent lengths, maybe by the reel even ( I need some for another project besides my Reprap)
Another point I spotted was that 2mm ID was a bit too big for 1.75mm filament, why? this noob thinks that it would run easier through a sloppy fitting tube and that it if it were tighter then it could tend to bind if the tubing gets too warm and starts to soften. I'm obviously going wrong but why?
I also want to print in 3mm or at least use up the 3mm I bought, what ID would be best for that ? 3.2mm ?
