Hi I know this is an old thread but I just wanted some clarification on this... I have a 24v 10a power supply that I want to use for the bed but I need to increase the resistance in order to use it..Or use this Duty cycle Mod.... I have brielfy tested it and I do get a lower current draw but I'm worried about damaging the PSU and/or the electronics. Should I disregard this Duty cycle Mod and juby metas - General
Ok well it baffled me for quite some time, but I have now resolved it. Yes it was the thermistor and bad insulation of the wires while in the heater block. Although it never read out as 0 °C, just started to fall back down when it reached 135 °C. I guess that was the expansion of the block and creating a short of some kind.by metas - RAMPS Electronics
I know this is yet another Hot End temp problem but I can't find the solution, so here I am... I have recently upgraded my electronics to Ramps 1.3 and Marlin firmware (from Gen3) and I am using Pronterface. The problem I have is that I can not get the Hot End temp to go above 135c. It heats up steadily and I get a temp reading which then reaches 135c, but then it drops off. I have a separate thby metas - RAMPS Electronics
Hi Adam, I think I'm in the same place you were, but I still can't get my Gen3 electronics to talk to any host software. I've tried that code from the link but still no...Did that fully resolve it for you? What host software are you using? Thanks. Graemeby metas - Reprappers
