You need some holes in the coolend fan holder, currently the top two fins are the only ones getting any air flow.by stephenrc - General New Machines Topics
Update the firmware & DWC, 1.09 is old. See and Use to setup the config.g and other needed files. The connections on the 085 and Wifi are similar except for the network setup. The configurator web site will get the network setup properly for the board. will help on the connections.by stephenrc - Duet
Push on the belt and get them both to have the same tension. Your belt paths don't look like they are parallel, so the path they travel changes length.by stephenrc - CoreXY Machines
Send M119 to see what the endstops are doing.by stephenrc - Reprappers
Most likely the 24vdc fried the 5vdc voltage regulator on the Mega. From the symptoms, you need to replace the voltage regulator.by stephenrc - Reprappers
QuoteAmericanOtaku44 My Z-axis only controls the Z motor, not the lift of the print head. If it only moves the bed up/down, then that makes sense. The z motor moves the z axis and it either increases/decreases the distance between the hotend and the bed.by stephenrc - Reprappers
Quotejcr_tech I've looked in here and could not find it. Printing two of belt-guide-624.stl will get what you want. It's under stl in the github link you provided.by stephenrc - Reprappers
No, the Due will get its power from the RADDS.by stephenrc - General

You need to stop Repetier Server before using other programs that need the comport the server is using for the printer.by stephenrc - Repetier
You need to put in a M305 for each of the bed and hotend thermistors. You currently have them commented out.by stephenrc - Printing
There's a set of arrows at one corner of the grid, red, green, blue. They start at the origin point.by stephenrc - Duet
RRF does run on the Due, since there is a version for the RADDS.by stephenrc - Developers
Doesn't the red arrows in the one corner already do that?by stephenrc - Duet
For 2, someday a slicer will take into account what the plastic does to holes. The work around is to make the holes bigger so that they come out the right size by trial and error.by stephenrc - Ormerod
From what it looks like in the photos of the first post, that bed is swinging in the wind. It needs more than one guide rail or rod keep it from moving.by stephenrc - General
Yes, it's been done before. Problem is the nozzle needs to be clean for it to work properly.by stephenrc - General
It's another printer that fixes a problem no one has, since I've never seen someone say or post "I wish my 3d printer expanded like a dining room table." The expansion should be automated and not require a bed change.by stephenrc - General
If the EEPROM is enabled, Marlin will use the settings in there and ignore the hardcoded ones. After uploading an updated Marlin, you have to send a M502 followed by a M500 to save the new settings.by stephenrc - Reprappers
D8 isn't the cpu pin number, it's the name of the pin. I believe you need to set CONTROLLERFAN_PIN to 57 and HEATER_BED_PIN to -1, to disable or whatever pin you're using for a heated bed.by stephenrc - Firmware - mainstream and related support
The only problem with those motors is they don't have a shaft, you'll have to supply one. Don't go cheap on the electronics, it's the heart of the printer. You get what you pay for and that ramps probably won't last long, they don't even supply a heatsink on the bed mosfet. Also, the pololu style drivers will not be able to supply much more than an amp to the the motors without overheating. Iby stephenrc - CoreXY Machines

The mosfet controls the ground side of the connection, the + side is always connected.by stephenrc - Firmware - mainstream and related support
No problem, your photo makes it easy to see how it works. If you use Misumi's HTJ5 screw, you don't have to do any M5 tapping.by stephenrc - General

Quoteo_lampe You've not drawn any corner brackets? You don't need corner brackets, just tap the ends and drill access holes in the other and screw them together, with the screw heads in the slots. The corners will be very solid compared to plastic corners. that's how my corexy is assembled.by stephenrc - General
In the latest RC8 & RCBugfix they're in configuration.h in the Movement Settings section which is right after the endstop section.by stephenrc - Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
Your endstops are 'moving'. Losing steps on the motors. Loose screw on one or more pulleys. For the ir sensor, bed surface not reflecting ir consistently. Tilting of the effector.by stephenrc - Firmware - Marlin
