Ah yes, a quick search reveals two receiver designs. Very nice. As for the legality of sale, the ATF disagrees with you. On page 2 of this response letter, this ATF agent clarifies that the only prerequisite for sale is proper markings: There are similar examples of ATF letters with similar statements at several locations. Actually, according to US Federal law, you can sell one of these after making it, but you can't make one that you intend to sell. It's an odd distinction, but that's often how laws work out. In order to eventually sell one of these, it would need clear, impressed markings that describe the maker, maker location (state is enough) and serial number in lettering at least 1/8" high and .003" deep.by particleman - General
