Okay I figured out what I need. I need to know how to edit the TEMP_RESIDENCY_TIME (line 880 of marlin.pde).by L4ZX55 - Firmware - mainstream and related support
I need to decrease the on/off cycle time of the heater core on my printer, is there a part of the marlin firmware that I can edit to do that?by L4ZX55 - Firmware - mainstream and related support
Hi all, I was looking at the Prusa page on the wiki recently (3 seconds ago) and noticed someone made some major revisions, and while I agree that the page was in serious need of some TLC (tender loving cleanup) some of the things on the new list make no sense. Firstly, 10 LM8UUs aren't enough (with the printed parts listed you need at least 11). Secondly, what in the world would you need a M8X50by L4ZX55 - General
I would suggest Blender especially seeing as it has a built in game engine, and is completely free (btw "rendering tool" would refer to something like v-ray or luxrender, what you want is a 3D computer graphics program ":]). And to answer your second question, yes it's called youtube :-pby L4ZX55 - 3D Design tools
Make sure you didn't wire your hot end with the wires in the wrong housing positions, and also make sure none of the wires are touching inside of the head, I made that mistake earlier today and kept short circuiting the PSU, making it shut itself off.by L4ZX55 - Controllers
Or, L4ZX55 in the past, you could check to make sure that the wires on you hot end aren't in the wrong places in the terminal housing causing your board to short circuit the PSU making it, in turn, shut down whenever you turn the hot end on (just a thought) . Thanks for all the help everyone, but it turns out that this was caused by a simple lack of sleep, and general absent mindedness.by L4ZX55 - General
Hi all, okay I've been trying to get my printer up and running today, but nothing seems to work. The problem is that every time I turn on the hot end my machine's ATX power supply shuts off, I've tried different power supplies, different heater resistors (of the same kind, mfg. ERX-3SJ6R8), and different Sanguinololus (1.3a, ATX power) , but no matter what I do every time I start the hot end theby L4ZX55 - General
Hello everyone, I'm trying to get together the parts for a Printrbot, but I've had trouble with the heated bed. I like the idea of the 5.5X5.5 size but I can't find any sort of documentation for it (I'm the diy type, and I'm cheap). Does anyone know where I can find some gerbers, bird files, etc.?by L4ZX55 - General
Hi everyone, I was just messing with the torque on my X axis while the power was on (I know it's a major no-no but I'm impatient), and the strangest thing happened, I started to receive a radio signal. I was using an all metal screwdriver to adjust the trimpot and suddenly my motor started making a strange noise, turns out it was playing some talk show (rather clearly). I figure I must have causeby L4ZX55 - General
Hello reprapers, I am having the same problem with the inability of my board to connect to any software Except for Printrun/Pronterface and Repsnapper but even in those I can't manually move the motors. In printrun I get the same thermistor error as tomprint3d had, replicatorg gives me the rts reset thingy (technical term and repsnapper doesn't say anything (could just be because it's kind of anby L4ZX55 - General
