2 prusa i3 for sale. UK - 11 years ago

One is the wooden frame variant the other is aluminium single plate.Both fully upgraded using the new makerbot mk8 direct drive style extruder. Using 1.75mm filament which I will supply a free reel per printer.Both fully calibrated as many at the my local hackspace can vouche that they both produce exceptional results. I have spent the last 12 months calibrating these.Looking for £299 each. BARG

Thanks for your response, really appreciate it. I might look at faberdashery... although I use 1.75mm which looks a lot more expensive, then the reprapper I use. £20 330m 1kg reel. might need to change my set up to 3mm as this seems on par, Was also looking at https://www.spectrumfilament.com/ any others? Hi , after countless wasted hours, I've had a gutsfull of cheap china filament. Whats your recommendations, mainly for PLA.. I have been using Reprapper... its so inconstant in diameter etc.. looking to spend upto £30 /KG delivered would really welcome some advice this. Cheers Dave

I have been using Cura for some time.. and had a minor issue of blobs on corners.... would love to get this fixed - went back to slic3r. I have just upgrade to slic3r 1.001 Rc and getting terrible results on corners, there appears to be a vertical groove on every corner, also random dots. I have duplicated as many settings from cura as I can.. Printing PLA with a direct drive extruder.Mk8 dr

Hi wish to upgrade my prusa i3 I'm really happy with the results, detail & speed.. but feel the bowden might let it down I'm looking at DIY Mendel Max 1.5 , Mendel 90, Prism X, OB1 Which would you recommend as an upgrade, and with what extruder. I really want super fast print speed, and top quality..(don't we all) Whats your experience - ? I really like the PrismX, but no plans at the

Hi.. Im using a Prusa i3 with Repetier/Marlin.. Im getting a tiny blob when starting layers.. Im not sure if its a Jerk issue... or that I need to Extrude slower.. Is it possible to make a led light when printing and another whilst sleeping. .. how would I do this in the ide ? And what pins can I use on the sangolinio , ive noticed 3 sets of pins labeled 12v.. CHEERS David

Im not asking for this.... it just this between prints...on its own If i print something... (so with everything at temperature after finishing the first print) It wont just start a new print...i.e start heating the extruder.. until it cools down to 40..and then it heats back up.... to say 200.. Dave

Frustrated that my extruder is told to cool down to less than 40.. before it heats up again for next print. . Really slowing things up. Especislly when calibrating. . How do I do this. . Or is it a marlin issue. Cheers DAve
